Daughter of Atlas · Guardian of Troy
Electra is the ground-floor apartment, the only one in the building with no stairs anywhere. It is 38 square metres, the largest of the three, and up on the rooftop there is a terrace that catches the morning sun and looks over the cobblestone street. The terrace is set up for eating outside: table, chairs, and enough room to linger.
It is also the only apartment with a full oven, which matters if you are staying long enough to cook properly. The kitchenette has the usual setup (fridge, cooker, toaster, coffee maker) and the oven adds to that. The apartment fits three guests comfortably, with a queen bed and a sleeper ottoman that pulls out into a proper single. Behind the bed, a full wall of stone gives the room its character.
All three apartments share the same extras: a full beach kit (towels, mats, umbrella, flippers, mask and snorkel), four-way coffee setup (Nespresso, Greek briki, filter, and Moka pot), and a bottle of local wine on arrival. My guide to the old town comes with every stay.
After each visit all bedding and linen is washed and sterilized, even the blankets. Hygiene plays a major role for me. The pillows are not only covered with pillow cases, but with special protective cases too, which are removed and washed each time.
Heart of Chania's old town. You're in a neighbourhood that has been continuously inhabited since the Minoan period. Everything that makes Chania worth visiting is within walking distance — and most of it is within five minutes.

Over the years I've found the places in town that cook wonderfully for special diets. Tell me what you need and I'll point you to the right spots.
